    Both Sides have valid points that is the truth. Do people need these benefits? Yes. Do some abuse the system and not look for work? Absolutly. The problem is not unemployment benefits, it’s a crap economy. How do we get the money flowing again? That is the question we need to be asking. It’s not hard to open any mouth for an opinion or complaint. Ask for a suggestion and you can hear a pin drop.

    I was “offered” a early retirement in July. However, I’m too young to get a pension check. Therefore, I get nothing! People that took the same deal in September got help with COBRA and unemployment benefits, that keeps getting extended. I feel that I got used! I have had to used my savings to live ….. It was either take the package or get lost …. I guess I got lost anyway ! People taking extended benefits are not even looking for jobs; screw you ! Enjoy your fishing trips !

    Once again, Obama is wanting to spend spend spend, knowing full well there is a great deal of money sitting there right now that could be use. Do you remember when the Democrats said the nation would fold if we didn’t pass the stimulus? Well over 50% is still sitting there and Obama doesn’t want to use it because he knows the American people would be upset because unemployment has skyrocketed since that time. We need to cut the fat in this government and we would have the needed money.

  • Mix7Studio:

    Republicans want to extend the benefits but not at the expense of the economy and the American people. They are saying the government should use the unused stimulus money, which there is over 50% still sitting there doing nothing. The Democrats are doing what they do the very best and lying to the American people, stating the Republicans are simply trying to hold back benefits, as a tactic to discourage Republican votes in Nov. Unfortunately, for the Democrats, the American people are to smart!

    @doston1

    It will and it will guarantee re-election to anyone who voted for it. Sad but true.

    A wise man once said, “why go on a diet when you’re starving?” Especially in this climate, this is the last thing we can afford to cut.

    @1Guitarslayer Lol, kisses sweetie

  • 1Guitarslayer:

    @Lighthouse724 LMFAO!! “big fat ass” HAHAHAHAHHAHAAA
    My shit is chiseled you fucking liberal ass licking faggot… chugg much jizz lately peckerbreath?? One would have to frequent a bowling alley to come up with the logic you regurgitate. Cutting Senators pay will not produce $39 Billion.
    Your math = FAIL!!! Tell your mom your school sucks, and so does your boyfriend. Maybe you could move back to France where they will embrace your feminized queerhood. FUCK YOU!!!

  • doston1:

    hopefully they don’t extend it, it is long enough already.

    “Hunger in the belly will create jobs.”

    Let’s see you go hungry for a week and a job is created or not. No jobs out there = no jobs. Period. People need the basic necessities in order to continue looking. Without basic necessities such as bread, a computer with internet, roof over head, there’s no way anyone is getting a job even if there is one.

  • Lighthouse724:

    @1Guitarslayer Meanwhile, Guitarslayer sits on his big fat ass. How about the senate take a pay cutt to pay for the extension.

  • pdelacruz1:

    republacrats and democans still kiting checks, nothing new here. lets see no ssa for retirement but you can get unemployment till 2012 elections then we all go broke paying tax

  • johnrico26:

    If you want to know where wasted tax dollars go it’s to endless pointless wars that we will never “Win” whatever that means. Unemployment insurance is something we pay into for the good of all. God job Mr. President and Senate.

  • ladylordess:

    @restlesspride666 Further Extension of Unemployment Benefits will not create jobs, or help others get out and work. It will further rob from the future of Americas youth. Hunger in the belly will create jobs. If you are talking about what is the Christian thing to do, then Charity is what is needed. More important than Charity is JOBS.

  • sunRsaturn:

    the government should undo the laws they got paid off to create that make it impossible to compete with the made in China swindlers. Or start businesses that create jobs. Or use the money and resources u nitwits waste on the fake society and media sharade and u could house and feed the world for the next thousand years. Or tax brown nosing….lol

  • siweltnek:

    I can’t discuss this anymore today. I have to pay my bills and get ready for work.

  • siweltnek:

    @restlesspride666 “the bigger the burden the more we should help” What you don’t realize is that that is the same philosophy that triggers bailouts of huge corporations. We have welfare for the poor lazy, and welfare for the rich lazy. Us working folk are not enjoying the benefits we have earned because we are subsidizing the poor AND the rich.

  • jabberwolf:

    @restlesspride666
    And try looking up on youtube: fannie freddie and democrats
    F&F, not the banks that followed, were the ones that lead the recession in trillions in bad assets we are all now paying for. Yet we are trying to regulate banks, mot of the big ones which have paid back TARP, but we arent regulating F&F who havent repaid anything and dont plan on doing so. Ask yourself why?!

  • siweltnek:

    @restlesspride666 Yes it was easier then. We didn’t have Bush and Obama’s separate but equally damaging War mongering draining our nation’s economy. However, If you’re going to blame “Republicans” for your life, you are taking yourself out of the driver’s seat of your life. Get off the couch. I’ve seen your videos. Your home is bigger than mine, and you have time to play guitar, and a computer. You have no viable excuse. You are not doing ALL that you can.

  • jabberwolf:

    @restlesspride666
    While Bush did a few things wrong, the democrats baby Fannie and Freddie were allowed to go into exremely low liquidity (low cash on hand) and buy up (back) alot of bad mortgage loans. Democrats defending F&F and defeated bills by Mccain and even bush to try to regulate it. The housing, banking, and urban affairs commitee made sure those bills were killed bfore they even reached the floor.

    Is kinda different when you actually have facts and not just propaganda isnt it?

  • restlesspride666:

    @siweltnek I think these kind of programs are necessary though for those that actually need it. Families and such…not single people though. The bigger the burden, the more we should help. Its only American and Christian after all to help our less fortunate neighbors. I hate how some conservates try to make it seem as though you can live a good life and buy a lambo or some shit with the money they give though the programs. Its very asinine. Obama is a neo-con puppet. Socialism for the rich…..

  • restlesspride666:

    @siweltnek Now try doing that with 5 mouths to feed and without a spouse to help. It was easier back in the early 2000′s than it is now, much easier. Thank you Republicans… for fucking it all up and pointing fingers.

  • restlesspride666:

    @jabberwolf …? Republicans started this problem in the first place with president Shrub. Play my guitar in New York…? So you’re telling me to become a bum basically? Typical. At least our taxes were lowered this time though, only good thing that stupid idiot Obama has done.

  • ninvin21:

    Fuck it lets just give Haiti some more money!
