i was laid off about 6 months ago after being employed by this co. for ten plus years. i was collecting unemployment benifits when i got called back to work. will i be able to keep my senority?

That depend on your union policy and company rules. If you’re not union seniority is probably more of a nicety, and is not an actual employment condition according to the law in most places.

If you are with the GMP union and pay the past union dues then you should still retain your seniority. I was on lay off for almost a year and I receiver my seniority with them. I was with Owens Brockway a glass plant.Glass Mold Pottery
typically unions have that rule, a non union employer is under no obligation to give you back seniority, unless it is their policy to do so
entirely up to the employer
