Question by ♥ : What are the chances of getting re-hired by a company that laid you off?
My dad was laid off two years ago.
It was when the market was really bad in Canada and they laid of like 50% of employees.

He worked for the company for 18 years he was an excellent employee, he was so hardworking, friends with everyone and everyone was sad to see him go.
He left on excellent terms with the company.

That was two years ago, he still hasn’t found a job.
He is going to call up his old manager to see if he knows of any career opportunities.

What are the chances of getting rehired?

if they are looking for workers, then his chances are pretty good because he had a good history with them.
