Was the “jobless recovery of 2004-2006″ what George W. Bush considered an economic boom?
There was a deep recession during 2001-2003 (for those who have forgotten) and another deeper recession which started in 2007.

ah dirrrrrr
Things are much worse now, and will continue to get worse.
BUT BUSH KILLED OSAMA
By the end of 2002 the Clinton inherited recession/9-11 recession was over thanks to the Bush tax cuts. Please force me to endure the Bush Dow 14000 again.

George Bush is rich, and he owns oil, and oil went up. So to him, it was an economic boom. The reason we had a recession was because of the 9-11 attacks.
I think that if we had a democrat in office, we would have been off a lot worse. Obama is not doing that much for us, and he says he’s going to raise middle class taxes when he said in his campaign he would lower them.
Just look at it like this, 99% of politicians are out for themselves, the money, and the power.
Help on mine please?

-Thank you.
yes
Bush supporters were promoting it as such. We just got deeper and deeper into economic trouble but they refused to see the coming storm.
The 2001 recession was due to the doc-com bubble, but the other bubbles were already building due to the Bush trillion dollar tax cuts borrowed from China to pay his wealthy base and two never-ending 3 trillion dollar wars which were never part of his budget. Coupled with massive deregulation of banks, financial institutions, and Wall Street, we are currently reaping the vast failures of the previous administration.

No there wasnt. In order to officially have a recession, you must have two or more consecutive quarters of negative growth.
According to this chart we didnt have negative growth until the last quarter of 2008:
