This really isn’t your fault, this is a planned.. the government wants unemployment and food riots to start before the end of the year ! Take a close look at: FEMA Executive Orders. Here martial law is the main stay. Unfortunately your wasting your valuable time waiting for a renewed unemployment benefit that will be purposely stalled till 2012. Well friend, my assumptions were not without merit. When I saw the 5 dollar ring on your hand and the 2 dollar swap meet glasses. I couldn’t help notice that you appear to be in a basement. (your mothers I presume) With that being said. I only offered a suggestion that you put all the time fighting for something that isn’t owed to you (tier 1-5) to better use. I can tell by the way you talk you are not college educated. But we need cooks, and carpenters, and day laborers. POWER TO THE PEOPLE.

What you need to do is take respsonsibility for your own life and actions. Stop begging for hand outs and get a damn job. Sitting at home begging for more free money to sit on your ass for more “tiers” is not going to make anything better. Mcdonalds is hiring everywhere. I’ll take you by the hand and walk you there myself and get you hired. Work 2 maybe 3 jobs. Take that money and invest it. Start your own buisness maybe. But get off your ass and get busy.

If you would have put forth the time and effort, that you’re contributing to this crap, you would have found a job by now.
This is the first time I have felt true depression in my life. I felt so hopeless after my check was cut. I have a job as a public school administrator, with my first check on Aug 30th. I don’t know how I will pay for my apartment if this thing does not pass. I have moved from CA to TX, so I will have to live in my car if this doesn’t go through. I will call and write based on your recommendation. The news is useless.

I am so glad that the outreach on this debate is going on. But please friends after this crisis is over, continue to watch our goverments actions on other issues. If this much fight was given to other fronts then maybe goverment will realize that they are being watched and well I can dream can’t I.
You do know that they also need to be taken off the retirement plan they have for themselves or at best let me in on it also. They do not care about you or I as they are very well to do. Retirement does not scare them, being voted out does not scare them. They spend hundreds of billions in dollars of tax payers money on special interest and tax breaks for the weathy. Then when asked by the unemployed to either create more jobs or help me stay afloat. Sorry we spent the money already.
These pols don’t represent the people and are desperately out of touch with what is happening to regular working class folks.
These senators/congressmen make well over 100K.
How many of these lawmakers represent districts where the average salary is over 100K?
They live high on the hog off the public dime while people are barely hanging on. IMO the pols should make the average wage of whatever constituency they represent then perhaps they would pass laws that actually help the people.
