Unemployment Extensions S.3981 House passes tax cuts, Dems and Reps strike deal: 99er’s left out

today on the house floor congress passed a bill to extend the bush tax cuts but only to the middle class. IN a closed session, republicans and democrats stuck a deal to extend tax cuts to ALL American’s including the nations wealthiest. In exchange unemployment extensions are likely, but NOT for the 99er’s.

we must say the jobs arent coming back. if you lost your job and have been truly looking after 2 years your going to have to adapt change your skill set become needed learn a trade. the truth of the matter is most of the jobs lost just wont be back.
companies are earning more with a smaller payroll so why would they hire people back? they wouldnt.

@BurninStrawMan I am NO debt collector! I am a DIRECTOR of credit and collections on the CORPORATE side. When I am employed I have a staff, a department, etc. The HNIC baby! I will NO do consumer debt, it is beneath me, and I I don’t believe in harassing those poor people. However, I will say in my debt collectors days, the DEBTORS loved me! Because I was a REAL g not some phony ass bitch.

@TRK387 Dude I fukn hate you people with a passion. I wish I still had some debt so I could fight with you on the phone again. I think i will go ahead and accept one of the hundred credit card offers I get in the mail, max it out, and not pay it for these purposes. Debt collectors are by far the best people to talk shit to. Maybe thats why we naturally fight so much.
@BurninStrawMan Before the FDCPA creditors could simply kick your door down and take they shit! lol. IT was all out POWER to the creditor… THEY could pretty much behave and do WHATEVER they wanted. There were NO laws to stop them. Being a debt collector back in the day (before my time) must have been fucking fun. It is FUNNY that struck on MY career. I am a director of credit & collections, also a recognized mediator before the civil court of NY.
@BurninStrawMan Actually my man its called a (cease and desist) this is a letter that tells a debt collector that the debtor wishes NO further communication, between them and the collector. Furthermore, under the FDCPA (the federal fair debt collection practices act) enacted by congress in 1977 to STOP the belligerence behaviors of debt collectors, the debt collector may call ONE last time to advise they have rec the C/D and they will commence with further remedies against the debtor.
@TRK387 At anytime a debtor can send a “drop dead letter” to the creditor, and from then on it is illegal for the creditor to harass the debtor outside of a court room.

@solitaryfracturetv PD checks are NOT worth the paper they are printed on. Did you call the bank to VERIFY that there was even an account in place? ACTUALLY under the new banking laws THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A POST DATED CHECK ANYMORE. A CHECK IS A CHECK. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM, talk to me FIRST before doing anything.
There are certain laws pertaining to the issuance of these items. I hope they clear for you…

I didn’t even know they announced the unemployment rate to be 9.8% but I suspect that everyone knows that is not the true rate just stating what is thrown at us by gov’t. I heard that 12/4 will be the deciding day to get the extension passed….SO fight for tier 5?
