How do you pay for unemployment benifits? You raise taxes on the rich. The rich own business who hire people like you. Since they have to pay more of their revenue to the government, they quit hiring because they cant afford to hire anyone. Any person that has been unemployed for 2 YEARS and says that he cant find a job is full of crap!

Larry I listened to your video and I am in the same boat as you & millions other folks in US. My spouse died of cancer 11/2009, six months after I was laid off as counselor. I think God wanted me home to see about him, but my UB unemployment has run stop on June 16. They said I had credits after May cutoff date, and is why I am not elig. However, Bill passed Jul 1 & we need Senate to pass, keep prayers open, thanks for your video. God Bless U.

@sexythang4727 – Yes. The only thing that can help you is Tier 5. Unfortunately, the new Stand Alone bill (as well as the prior bill) currently being battled in Congress does NOT include Tier 5 so you will get nothing. Tier 5 has been eliminated. The $25 per week Stimulus Payment has been eliminated. Cobra has been eliminated.
i have a question, so the extension they are going to pass tier 1-4 what does this includes people who haven’t exhausted all their benefits yet ? who is this helping? so like me i’m exhausted like last month in tier 4 i only drawed 6 weeks and the first of may i was done. so now the only thing that would help me is tier v am i right? can someone answer this for me?

Great video. Obama just sent $400 million to Palestine. But as of June 5 I no longr get unemployment. I ended tier 2. PA is phasing out unemployment. The fed stopped helping on June 5. there are no more extensions. I have been looking heavily for an job. I have been overqualified and underqualified, The state of PA may go ballistic as over 500,000 people are currently out of work..

The Tax Extenders bill (H.R.4213) Cover Tier 1-4… While thats good news for millions who will benefit from knowing their unemployment wont be ending till years end, its of little condolence to the millions of “99ers” who have and will exhaust their benefits.
To throw Millions of unemployed Americans under the bus is unacceptable.

Great Job Larry, Most of the newly created job numbers are from seasonal positions. People who have exhausted Tier 4 (99 weeks) should make sure to re-open there claims so that they are still counted.

But, the government can give people who don’t care money but I have a handicapped brother who have to fight to keep his benefits every year! What kind of shit is that? I am new I am a 99er this is my last check this week, I used my 401k up just trying to live I was with the Ct Medicare for 30 years untill they move it to New York,That a laugh Ct Medicare in New York in 2008.I have looked for jobs No luck Nice letters saying sorry but. but what?I am going to lose my house I am in the middle of Ameriquest settlement lawsuit some people say a $1,000. some say $20.00 I need the tier 5 I am not lazy nor crazy.I don”t Quilfied for any state asst. own a home and make to much on unemployment,so what is congress going to let live in tents, We all 99ers need help.Better be before Nov.Think there going to be sorry senators.

I need my damm money now, the Obama go on 10 vacation this years, and I caannot even pay my bills. What is the problem in this country. I tried to start a business with my unemployment (bootstrap CSA on the run-down farm my camper is parked on) and had it sabotaged by a tenant who doesn’t work, collects welfare for a kid who doesn’t live with him, gets all state benefits because he’s a recidivist criminal and he just bought a brand new truck, sand rail and scooter because he’s also a drug dealer. I’ve lost time, my unemployment, and my place to live because drug dealers pay cash and they pay on time. I have 5 different professions and haven’t had so much as an interview in two and a half years. Lazy? Try cleaning a rundown farm while trying to start a business on nothing, only to see it ‘go up in smoke’. How about they give me back my unemployment out of the money they are giving this white-trash piece of crap. I could buy a house out-right with what this creep is making off of the system.
They are dividing and conquering. You look at your neighbor and see they are playing the system but you don’t know their real circumstances. If someone has to go on welfare, my bet is they don’t want to and would rather be working. It’s degrading to even apply. Don’t judge.
On another note, all Michelle Obama needs to say is “Let them eat cake,” and we are right back in Marie Antoinette’s age, not caring about people’s poverty, too busy going on vacations and eating at expensive restaurants. Shame on them.
