Government to Provide Michigan Unemployment Extension to Alleviate the Sufferings of the Unemployed, Unemployment-Extension.org
(PRWEB) June 28, 2011
Unemployment in the US has been on the rise although most of the public may think otherwise. After the economic turmoil, millions of people have lost their jobs. Some of them are underemployed, while most of them are unemployed, according to Unemployment-Extension.Org.
The jobs are being axed out by big companies to sustain the global competition. Reports show that number of unemployed people in USA is over 14 million, while only 7 million are collecting unemployment.
This leaves the unemployed people in the lurch and their lives come to a grinding halt. Though, they get the unemployment insurance to meet their immediate needs. However, in the long term it is difficult to meet the needs of the family.
Most of the unemployed people turned out to be discouraged workers and they stop looking for the job considering the lull in the economy. That is when the government decides to provide the stimulus by giving extended benefits.
The government has tried to provide the economic booster by giving the unemployment benefits to those who have lost their jobs. However, most of the people have exhausted their benefits limits. However, according to the sources, the government is providing Michigan unemployment extension for the unemployed masses in the Michigan state. These benefits will be over and above the normal unemployment insurance benefits received by the individuals.
According to a law, the Michigan state workers can get additional benefits up to 13 weeks. Though, this does not help improve the employment status, but it can definitely give a great relief to these unemployed people. Their families can also take advantage of this extension. However, those who are eligible can get Michigan unemployment extension.
Those persons who do not have a full time job and they are not receiving any additional benefits from any other state or Canada and they have exhausted their unemployment insurance under Emergency Unemployment Compensation (EUC) Program. However, those workers who are not willing to apply for work are disqualified for the benefits.
Surprisingly though, Michigan state has the highest number of unemployment rate which is as high as 8.5% and it seems the numbers are going to increase. Therefore, considering the unemployment status in the Michigan state, the benefits have been extended.
Michigan unemployment extension benefits will help those persons who have exhausted their regular 26 weeks benefits to meet their financial obligations. A person can continue to search for a job without any stress.
According to the reports by Unemployment-Extension.Org, an additional stimulus package is also approved by the government for the Michigan state. This package allows people to get additional benefits of $ 25 each week. The additional funds are coming to the Michigan State are coming via American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

President Barack Obama Implements 2012 Unemployment Extension Benefits, Reports Unemployment-Extension.Org
Sacramento, CA (PRWEB) October 05, 2011
President Barack Obama has implemented a 2012 unemployment benefits extension, in two of the highest unemployed states in the country, California and Florida, it is certainly a necessity, announces Unemployment-Extension.Org.
This came as no easy task for Obama, as many believe the extended unemployment benefits provide a disincentive to hunt for work and arent inclined to get back on their feet. Republicans have sounded more optimistic about a job training plan that would allow workers to continue to receive their benefits while temporarily working with a company.
However, the intention behind extending CA Unemployment Benefits is to actually increase the number of Americans who find new jobs, according to most studies made in 2011. By one calculation, unemployment insurance extensions increased the share of workers who became re-employed by about 1.3 percentage points in January 2011 by reducing the fraction who excited the labor force.
Obama looks for a 2012 Unemployment Extension for the entire country, with some states needing it much more than others. Florida for instance, still has more than 987,000 unemployed, and would have seen its maximum benefits fall to 23 weeks from the national standard of 26 weeks as of 2012, if this Florida Unemployment Extension was not pushed for.
Federally extended benefits, also called emergency unemployment compensation, were first passed in June 2008 and has been extended by Congress eight times… now nine times.

Obama Extends Yet Another Unemployment Extension To Continue Throughout 2012, Reports Unemployment-Extension.Org
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 18, 2011
With Republicans hell-bent on reducing the federal deficit in control of the House, it seemed unlikely that yet another benefits unemployment extension would occur and yet, that is exactly what happened this week… It seems no one can deny the gravity of our joblessness right now, according to Unemployment-Extension.Org.
President Obama has reauthorized the federal unemployment extension benefits for another 13 months. As of May 2011, 13.7 million Americans were collecting unemployment. The last week of May saw the first increase in those filing for benefits in three weeks, which shows that the economy is still very fickle.
According to Unemployment-Extension.Org, there were 1.5 million 99ers (who exhausted their 99 weeks of unemployment insurance without finding work) at the last count in October. The latest unemployment extension will not help the 99ers, but it will help people who were more recently laid off cash-in on the assistance that so many other Americans have been collecting.
Come the 2012 election cycle, Barack Obama is likely to be facing the highest unemployment rate that any US President has faced since World War II. Conference Board analysts expect that the jobless rate will still be a lofty 8.5 percent come 2012, down from the 9 percent it is currently.
Unemployment-Extension states that The Federal Reserve has already estimated that we “could” see unemployment down to 7.8 percent come November. While weve dropped from the peak 10.1 percent unemployment in October 2009, this latest unemployment extension proves we are far from out of the water.

According to Unemployment-extension.org, a majority of Americans cite “continued high unemployment rate” as a top economic worry. A previous poll conducted earlier in the year put that concern as second below high gas prices. As high gas prices fall, other concerns are coming to the forefront for American citizens. Additional worries about the growth in government spending also increased over the previous year. A previous poll conducted by Unemployment-extension.org showed a large increase in worries over macroeconomic conditions, indicating an increasing desire of the public for Congressional action. Current Congessional action has largely left unaddressed job creation, focusing instead on slashing spending and decreasing benefits. One bright spot however, is a notable increase in the number of states issuing unemployment extensions and lifting the amount of time the unemployed can collect benefits.
Also on a positive note, concern over fuel prices fell in the latest poll. According to Unemployment-extension.org, 20% of respondents cited the increased gas cost as their number one economic worry, slightly more then half over the previous poll. Gas prices have fallen over 10% in the current year bringing other economic conditions to the forefront. 46% of those polled say that continued high employment will be a drag on the economy and depress recovery.
High taxes and government spending were cited by over half of respondents as more pressing problems than oversight and regulation of businesses. Business regulation was not cited in the top five concerns by a majority of the respondants. Over 50% of those polled would vote on bills that cut taxes and decreased goverment spending. Among respondants considered unemployed, continuing unemployment benefits were a top concern with high unemployment rate coming in second. Overall, close to 10% of the respondants declared themselves unemployed, closely mirroring the general population. Under 5% of respondants considered themselves out of work and not looking for a job and were not counted among the unemployed.
According to Unemployment-extension.org, the jobless rate increased by 0.1 of a percentage point to 9.2 percent in May and temporary employment showed minor change over the month. “With gas prices falling, this poll shows unemployment rate and extension of benefits are rising concerns among ordinary Americans’ said Unemployment-extension CEO Mark Quinones.

US Unemployment Figures Lead to Auto Lease Takeover Payment Popularity, Reports Unemployment-Extension.Org
Los Angeles (PRWEB) October 14, 2011
Jobless Americans with outstanding 2011 and 2012 Unemployment Extension claims have utilized auto lease payment takeover programs for new cars, due to credit requirements, announces Unemployment-Extension.Org.
Unemployment rates have certainly been a popular topic of discussion this year, with unemployment extension benefits being a main concern of the general American public. A topic that has received less discussion however, has been the difficulty in obtaining auto financing.
Unemployment-Extension.Org reports show that an increasing number of Unemployment Extension applicants have used a car lease take-over payment alternative instead of applying for traditional lending options.
Instead of applying for typical car loans, Americans with poor credit scores are utilizing lease locator companies, much like AutoLeaseLocator.com for thousands of cars available for take over payments.
The process seems to work, and is relatively simple: the original car owner cannot afford their vehicle for what is owed on it, then the AutoLeaseLocator connects the owner to an individual who takes over the remainder of the car payments.
The consumers who have used the service have certainly appreciated the service, as it is obviously a much needed program in this economy.
Any unemployment extension inquires are to be made at Unemployment-Extension.Org. One can utilize the take over car payments program at AutoLeaseLocator.com.
Unemployment Claim Numbers See No Progress, Americans Extend Unemployment Benefits Through Unemployment-Extension.Org
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) October 18, 2011
The latest weekly unemployment claims data sees no progress, the troubling unemployment extension situation has driven an increase in US extension numbers, reports Unemployment-Extension.Org. The continued heavy flow into the jobless pool reflects an environment where jobs are still hard to get.
According to Unemployment-Extension.Org, Congress has been unable to pass the Presidents Jobs Bill this week, some 6 million Americans could soon be disconnected from the government aid that has so far sustained them; and an inhospitable labor market awaits them.
For the week ending October 8, weekly pa unemployment claims eased by 1,000, but remained at an unhealthy level of 404K. The four-week moving average illustrates the troubling malaise in labor, as the claims average sits at an even higher 408K. While the flow of benefits filers sits above the 300K level, it depicts a labor market where the odds are stacked against job seekers. Meanwhile, an increasing number of economists are forecasting either recession or a slower rate of economic growth for 2012, and higher unemployment to complement that.
Week after week, the insured unemployed count decline. The latest CA Unemployment Claims Report shows that some 55K Americans left in the week ending October 1. With regard to the larger pool of Americans receiving any sort of unemployment benefit under all programs, the number dropped by 39,203 in the week ending September 24, to a still high 6.8 million Americans.
Many of these folks are receiving unemployment benefits through the extension legislation which will expire at the close of the year. The expiration of the legislation does not equate to the expiration of benefits to all, as that depends on when each person saw their regular benefits expire.

Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) December 10, 2011
Congress has approved US unemployment extension benefits for 2012. This unemployment extension will allow unemployed workers in the US a 99 week extension of unemployment compensation. Americans can now file for a full 99 week unemployment extension at Unemployment-Extension.org.
The unemployment extension was certainly much needed in numerous states with high unemployment rates, such as Ohio and Wisconsin unemployment.
The unemployment extension is no doubt a necessity, as the amount of jobless Americans is much worse than the unemployment rate displayed in the media. Contrary to popular belief, state unemployment rates do not represent the amount of jobless Americans – it simply represents the amount of Americans that are currently collecting unemployment.
Essentially, the more people that are unsuccessful at finding work after being laid off, the lower the state unemployment rate gets. Simply put – the less employed workers there are, the fewer people on unemployment. The percentage Americans who are jobless can be estimated at 22-27% – however, this number is almost impossible to determine.
The Ohio unemployment rate, has gone down in recent months although there are less individuals with jobs. Wisconsin unemployment numbers have followed similar suit, along with numerous states across the country.
Both Republicans and Democrats will finish their legislative work this upcoming week with the full details on the 2012 unemployment extension. One can file for the new unemployment extension & initial claims at http://www.Unemployment-Extension.org.
