wow that stimulas program sure is developing jobs at the unemployment dept how high do you think unemployment?

Question by : wow that stimulas program sure is developing jobs at the unemployment dept how high do you think unemployment?
will actually go?

Lawmakers stressed that the fourth unemployment benefit extension in the past 18 months was necessary because initial signs of economic recovery have not been reflected in the job market.

“The truth is that long-term unemployment remains at its highest rate since we began measuring it in 1948,” House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said. About one-third of the 15 million people out of work have gone at least six months without a job.

The bill would provide another 14 weeks of benefits to all out-of-work people who have exhausted their benefits or will do so by the end of the year, estimated at nearly 2 million. Those in states where the jobless rate is 8.5 percent or above get an additional six weeks.

The unemployment rate is now 9.8 percent and economists are predicting that there will be tens of thousands of new job losses as new job market figures are released.

The extra 20 weeks could push the maximum a person in a high unemployment state could receive to 99 weeks, the most in history. Unemployment checks generally are for about $ 300 a week.

Take all the “too good to be true” ones and delete them. Nobody’s going to offer you a job without a personal interview, based solely on your resume.

Why is there only 23 states that make sure foreclosures are legal, will the rest follow suit now?

And require the original documents in court to make sure foreclosures are legal?

in the other 27, that job is handled by the Trustee who holds the Deed. they are called “Deed of Trust” states.

since the trustees are private businesses, they can hire more staff easily to accommodate added volume — which the courts can’t do. Thus, more checking already happens in the other 27 states. [Although I'm sure that some errors happen -- errors are inevitable when humans do things.]

Question by cwa: I am not sure that I have a job with the first company yet. What do I do about my other offers?
I have a couple of good job offers. I accepted one and they quickly sent me for the pre-employment physical. They are very picky about the nerve conduction test. The clinic where I did the test is having some sort of trouble getting the results of that test back. I have not declined the other job offer yet but I fear its shelf life is expiring. What should I make sure I ask for in my Marine Corp job contract?

Question by Questioneer: What should I make sure I ask for in my Marine Corp job contract?
On Monday I’m going in to my recruiter to sign my job contract. My general MOS field is Aviation Operations. Any suggestions would help. Thanks

Answer by Erica
That’s what you’re going to sign for. Boy this isn’t the school yard, you don’t get to request your demands.. You get what they give you. You’ll sign for a general MOS field. Whether you can get a bonus or not is completely up to whether they have any or not. Most likely not.

Making Sure Unemployed Americans Are Getting the Help They Need

“M. Speaker, I rise today in strong opposition to this rule and the underlying bill. How in good conscience can we allow states to fund reemployment programs with money that would otherwise be in the pockets of the unemployed. My amendment mandates transparency and accountability. It requires states to make public the amount of money taken from the checks of unemployed Americans. It’s not that I am against reemployment programs. What I am against is decreasing the amount of money beneficiaries get each month. I mentioned Karen from Cleveland on the floor last week. Karen was laid off in March. Her unemployment check is allowing her to keep her home, and pay for expensive prescriptions. She relies on every dollar. Let’s cut the partisan posturing and extend unemployment insurance without unnecessary riders. I yield back.”

When I was 20 years old I moved from PA. to Az. ,just becuse i wanted to ,it was exellent, some of the happiest times of my life ,and fondest memories…now it wasnt easy getting re established, but it was well woth it for me.
Really it depends on the person….some people do not like change at all….others see it as a great adventure, perception really plays into it.I go for it if I were you, but Im not you:)

Speak to someone in person. Ask them questions about the hours, and the specific position you have in mind. If possible, try to talk to someone else who works at the same position, or used to work for them to get more details.

If they ask you to put up a lot of money up front, it is probably a scam. No employer should be asking you for money.
