the auto and electronics industry (I’m talking about real electronic components like professionals use – not that Chinese garbage you get from Best Buy) would suffer far greater layoffs due to the earthquake in Japan. Oil prices have started falling and many believe COMEX may increase margin requirements again as many think we’re seeing an “inverse demand bubble” in relation to oil and gas (an inverse demand bubble is when investors refuse to let prices fall in spite of overwhelming evidence of lagging demand). It’s also widely accepted that the economic slowdown we saw in the first quarter of this year was a by-product of the Bush tax cuts and the best way to ease commodities prices is to increase taxes on the wealthy – thereby moderating the amount of cash flowing into investment markets (because we all know the wealthy don’t create any jobs until average people start hitting the stores and consumer spending picks up). The Republicans don’t have a single candidate who’s even nominally viable for president and they shot themselves in the foot with supporting the Paul Ryan austerity budget.

So Republicans, you’ve done all you can to try to ruin the economy with your investors cabal to discredit the President with high gas prices. Rick Scott’s attempt to privatize Medicaid in Florida is a massive flop. Democrats are sick and tired of you extremist whackos and will be hitting the voting booths in record numbers in 2012.

Question by : who knows some employers that will hire a felon on parole in the North County Escondido area?
Looking for temp or partime employment in the Escondido area of North County. I’m on parole but in recovery and looking for a chance to work again. I am serious about my life and just need some help with employment.

The misery of our people is horrible to behold! Millions in the industrial sector are unemployed and starving; the whole of the middle class and the small artisans have been impoverished. When this collapse finally reaches the American poor, we will be faced with an immeasurable disaster. For then not only shall a nation collapse, but a two-hundred-year-old inheritance, some of the loftiest products of human culture and civilization.

All about us the warning signs of this collapse are apparent. Conservatism, with its method of madness is making a powerful and insidious attack upon our dismayed and shattered nation. It seeks to poison and disrupt in order to hurl us into an epoch of chaos…. This negative, destroying spirit spared nothing of all that is highest and most valuable. Beginning with the uninsured, it has undermined the very foundations of morality and faith and scoffs at culture and business, nation and homeland, justice and honor. Eight years of unbridled capitalism have ruined America; one more year of Bush capitalism would destroy it. The richest and fairest territories of Iraq have been turned into a smoking heap of ruins. The thousands of wounded, the hundreds of dead which this inner strife has already cost America should be a warning of the storm which would come….

The inheritance which has fallen to us is a terrible one. The task with which we are faced is the hardest which has fallen to American statesmen within the memory of man. But we are all filled with unbounded confidence for we believe in our people and their imperishable virtues. Every class and every individual must help us to found the new America.

The Government will regard it as its first and foremost duty to revive in the nation the spirit of unity and co-operation. It will preserve and defend those basic principles on which our nation has been built. It regards national socialism as the foundation of our national morality, and the family as the basis of national life….

Turbulent instincts must be replaced by a national discipline as the guiding principle of our national life. All those institutions which are the strongholds of the energy and vitality of our nation will be taken under the special care of the Government.

The United States Government intends to solve the problem of the reorganization of trade and commerce with two four-year plans:

The American farmer must be rescued in order that the nation may be supplied with the necessities of life….

A concerted and all-embracing attack must be made on unemployment in order that the American working class may be saved from ruin….

The Republican party have ruined the American working poor in eight years.

In eight years they have created an army of millions of unemployed. The National Government will, with iron determination and unshakable steadfastness of purpose, put through the following plan:

Within four years the American worker must be rescued from the quagmire into which he has fallen.

Within four years unemployment must be finally overcome. At the same time the conditions necessary for a revival in trade and commerce are provided.

Only when this has been done can the idea of a continued federal existence of the entire country be fully realized….

Compulsory labor-service and the back-to-the-land policy are two of the basic principles of this program.

The securing of the necessities of life will include the performance of social duties to the sick and aged.
