A big factor in the shift into the red is the long-time raiding of Social Security by the Government, robbing (poor) Peter to pay (rich) Paul. Now, we have ultra-wealthy multinational corporate “persons” and even foreign nations on the draw whilst we, the majority at home, suffer a drawn-out insufferable demise in freedoms and living standards. It is not the poor, but rather the extremely wealthy that are bleeding US dry as natural persons with inalienable God-given rights.
The very fact that gov has used a plastic credit card to issue food stamps is all the proof any sheep would ever need of the collapse to come.

Strange, how did this idiot robber get over $500? High traffic food service always drop their money past a certain point which was before $500 back in my day. For you luck folk who did not have to work a register in food service, dropping is taking your cash out the register, with a note attached saying the amount and time. The money goes into a one way safe build into the ground. The employees do not have the key.
