Thank you, Congresswoman Berkley. I am fortunate to have a job, but my friend has been unemployed for over year. He is over 55 and sends out resumes every single day. Typically, he hears, “Aren’t you overqualified…” translate age discrimination. What really enrages me is when Republicans suggest that people accept lower paying jobs–my friend would be happy to do so, if any were offered him!
