PC Repair business > What type of guarantee should I offer?

I’ve started a computer repair business. What type/ condition of guarantee should I offer to my customers? What terms can I set for different types of services for labor and parts? I want to provide guarantee, but don’t want to get screwed.

If you went to your competitor, what kind of guarantee would you expect? Then you can do what you would expect, or do better. If you do better, you may get abused once in a while but may end up with a LOT more business that makes up for it. Lifetime guarantees are good for building trust.

Stew Leorand was the first grocery store to put items like nuts and candy out in bulk for people to help themselves. He lost 5% to people who took a free sample, but sold an average of 40% more to each customer over pre-packaged items. Easy math. Now most every store does it.

    Hi,
Most people won’t screw you over but you will find that in any business there is always someone who will. You can just use the manufacturer warranty on the parts and if you know your stuff give a 3 month labour
