Unemployment benefits will get a 13-month-long extension and the nation will keep the tax cuts signed into law by former President George W. Bush for two more years, President Barack Obama announced on Monday evening.

Everyone wants to blame Pres. Obama for this mess…but he unfortunately was handed this mess and he is doing the best that he can with being left with war, poor economy and greedy and stupid Republicans….I for one am grateful for the small because I believe that the greater will soon come…if the 99ers wanted it all so badly then why in the hell did the GOP takeover? If we (those know who you are) didn’t take the necessary steps towards the changes that we needed to win…then SHAME ON YOU!
President Obama in his address like, “I’m not willing to see 2 million Americans who stand to lose their unemployment insurance at the end of this month be put in a situation where they might lose their home or their car or suffer some additional economic catastrophe.” What about the 6 mil 99ers?? This statement is a slap in the face of all 99ers! Lets hope Michelle can talk some talk with Obama!!

Obama has come to our defense and I thank him for that but maybe a little more of a hard line stance towards the 99ers would’ve been much nicer for the holidays!!
