Making Home Affordable Press Conference Oct 2, 2009
During a press conference held 10/2/2009 at CET, elected officials, including US Treasurer Rosa Rios, Rep. Steve Driehaus, Mayor Mark Mallory and Hamilton County Commissioner David Pepper, and representatives from various national and community organizations came together to announce the foreclosure prevention activities taking place around Greater Cincinnati in October. Activities include education of local foreclosure prevention counselors on The Making Home Affordable program, a three day Foreclosure Prevention Phone-a-Thon beginning on October 14, and an opportunity for Phone-a-Thon callers to have a scheduled face-to-face meeting with their lender or counselor.
