Thats the first clear explanation I’ve heard about how foreclosure works. BOA is currently trying to scam me out of my house. I was only a month behind when BOA recommended HAMP. They put me on trial payments and promised a loan mod. 6 months later they claim I owe them $10k in arrears and attorney fees and put my house into foreclosure. I was forced to file bankruptcy to stop it. BOA should give me my damn house for the nightmare they put me through. At least this will give me a breather.
