How are jobs created with a government check that BARELY buys groceries?

By that logic.. we should ALL go on unemployement…just live off of the Government ( Which is what any true and loyal Democrat wants) and order ALL our stuff from China

If Joe Unemployed doesn’t have money to buy groceries, then the supermarket DOESN’T hire clerks. If Joe Unemployed gets an unemployment check the supermarket DOES hire clerks. I know this concept is way above the average conservative head, but think about it for awhile. You might get it.
Pelosi needs psychiatric counseling in the worst possible way. That women is flat out retarded.
Liberals state that taking $ 1 from Joe and giving that dollar to Bob will somehow increase that value of the $ 1 to $ 1.63 – Liberals are nuts that’s for sure.
Polosi isn’t the leader of liberals, & Yes unemployment benefits create jobs, it’s not that hard to understand, people who have no money get a tiny amount to live on, they spend it, that creates jobs, someone buys groceries they create jobs for the sales clerk at the grocery store & the workers in the field picking vegetables. It’s something everyone on the street knows people who don’t have money don’t spend money & thus don’t create jobs.
@I will be avenged: So the unemployment checks can pay for groceries so cashiers can be employed and then is the rationale that the cashiers will pay part of their income to pay the unemployed? With that rationale one would have to be dumb to choose the employment.
Of course. I understand economics. Do you? You do realize don’t you that unless the consumer base has money, jobs not only aren’t created, but disappear. Wealth of a nation is when the average consumer can afford all the necessities and many of the non-essentials. Without consumers, there is no business. It all begins when the consumer has money.

I thought the Obama Administration said they created or saved three million jobs, so unemployment money should have little or no affect. If they created all these jobs why do they need all these billion for unemployment benefits.
If Pelosi used some of the examples given in this blog as proof of how unemployment benefits produce jobs, she would have been laughed off her soap box!
