La. jobless rate drops to 6.9 percent in March
Louisiana’s unemployment rate dropped to 6.9 percent in March, the Associated Press reported. The federal Labor Department says Louisiana was among 17 states, as well as the District of Columbia, that saw seasonally adjusted jobless rates drop from February to March.
