Colyman1 I’m a visual artist and yes I believe in craftmanship and seeking perfection even though it is always out of reach. So, if we just desire perfection this would be a very boring world. I don’t know what your credintials are but we’ve got to give in and just enjoy what’s there. I love Kevins voice and guitar so for me that’s enough.
@MEBCBCBCME I heard part of his CD today and it is no different than the real thing. He’s a great guy, I’m sure, but he is just not a singer. I think he knows it and would rather be known as a guitar player, at which he is just fair by Nashville standards. His writing is ok at best, but heck who knows, he may just sell a bunch of those things based on the fact that he can catch a chicken!!

@REALxDEALxKILLA why would you be shocked? you know as well as I do that these shows are scripted like any other “reality” show. The unemployed farmer tugs on the heart strings…”the underdog” always makes for good sales..I mean tv. My buddy was a boom mike operator for Canada idol…they have already picked the “ringers” & “clowns” before they even go up to get judged!
Still…I have seen that level of talent at the local pub.

he sux, freakin country hick won the whole thing,ya whatever!!. im a model/talent scout & I know how to pick winners & hes NOT even close to measuring up to the standards of the others im very disappointed.hes just an average,everyday singer nothing special @ all.he deffinately was not the most deserving to win this show,and im completely shocked & surprised that he did OMG!!!!!

I am really glad he won. When I watched the first epidode of AGT I was really saddened because a lot of those people laughed at him thinking he couldn’t sing. They just basically judged what he did and what he looked like. But when he started singing I loved the expressions on their faces…shocked. I really love his voice and hope he does well

I have mixed emotions about this issue. I feel it was a great win for the under dog but honestly he is not what is typical or expected of this show. I hope he becomes famous but there were others that struggled just as hard that as far as talent goes deserved that particular venue win.
