What’s the GOP solution? Seriously, I can’t find one to read about.

I’m not going to blindly jump back on the GOP bandwagon for no valid reason without seeing some NEW, GOP solutions.

typical Lib response, BUSH DID IT

You mean Dumbya’s $ 700 billion gift to the Big Banks ?…LOL
That’s what happen when GOP’ers are trying to “solve” a problem…

  • Myx is back:

The stimulus didn’t work and only made things worse. Now that the government has borrowed massive amounts of money from the Fed the credit will dry up because the banks will stop making loans. The federal gubment has borrowed too much. Unemployment will skyrocket. Gas will soon skyrocket and when it does Obummer’s ratings will go in the toilet.

  • Bug:

The stimulus did exactly what it was supposed to do: infuse cash into the system.

The problem is, the “system” is sitting on the cash.

Non-financial corporations are sitting on over $ 1.8 TRILLION, and banks that have assets at the Fed are sitting on over $ 1 TRILLION. That’s almost $ 3 TRILLION in the hands of the private sector that is not being used to help the recovery.

So, instead of banks loaning this money to small businesses, who can then use it to hire people; or instead of those companies padding their bottom line with all that cash, they could be hiring people; we have corporate greed running the show.

The stimulus is not to blame. This is your glorious “free market” at work. This is your wonderous “capitalism” that is supposed to save us all.

This is what we get for listening to Republicans.

  • Nicholas J:

The stimulus money went two places – tax cuts and directly to the states to pay for basic services threatened by state deficits.

If a 2% variance on unemployment estimate vs. result is your biggest issue with the Obama administration, then he must be doing one heck of a bang up job!

  • OBGYN:

You don’t feed loan money into an already deficient system and hope to get a better results.

Everyone with half a brain could have told you that. We tried that for eight years with bush, didn’t work then.

Doesn’t matter who gets the fake money, it was never real to begin with.
