If a job offer didn’t pay within your salary range is it OK to negotiate one more vacation week instead?
Question by Kimo: If a job offer didn’t pay within your salary range is it OK to negotiate one more vacation week instead?
I negotiated a job offer and I got more on the second offer but it’s still outside the salary range of what I told them I will accept.
Would it be reasonable to ask for a 3 weeks of vacation instead of 2? they didn’t say paid, so I am assuming it should be ok.
I don’t want to sound greedy but at the same time I want to make sure I am getting a good package since I can’t negotiate anymore on the salary.

Not usually the salary on off is that! Extra time off is not a problem especially if its unpaid – if they don’t want to pay they never will, ou’ll never be happy so don’t bother look for something with the right salary level for you.
