Any company can hire foreign workers provided they go through all the bells and whistles that the government requires. If you are only getting a job offer to secure more points on the skilled worker application you are just making it harder on yourself.

If you are given a legit job offer and you arrive at the Canadian border they will issue you a work permit. BUT it is for that job only, you can’t go and quit and find another job. So do your homework before you move here. Put your resume on job sites and find an employer. Better yet come for a visit, find the city you want to live in, look for a job and find one then go home and come back. Do your homework!

Firstly when you say skills what skills do you have?usually canada only allow migrants for such proffessions as engineers, electricians construction or certain sectors of the health service. if your thinking to go there just because you have a certain skill in the uk you need to forget it or rethink the whole plan. now you probably dont realise but once you get there you wont qualify to do your job you had done well in uk even if you are well qualified , in other words you got to study be a student usually have to pay a lot of money and invest time before your allowed to even step foot in an interview room!it dont matter if your a plumber or whatever or a doctor you got to do it canadas way ,its crazy they demand skilled workers but yet wont allow anyone to do the job and they have to re qualify.Canada is different to uk i mean ive got 16 years experience in my own trade but in Canada it dont count for anything its all about what CANADIAN qualifications do you have? I say this being a former resident i left personally for marriage reasons but trying to get a job in canada is extremely hard and frustrating, i was told once(before i married) that the only way i can get a job there unless im from a specialised occupation gap then i have to find a job no one else in canada can do.!! anyway i was fortunate and my wife sponsored me as shes resident already, but canada has the most educated janitors and taxi drivers in the world.(doubt this then go ask them what they once did) the reason is many go there trying to fill a need but when they get there they have to go through such lengths like i said to study full time or part time whilst doing a menial job like cleaning or something to help their income (ive met doctors from other countries who emigrated there working in mcdonalds and accountants working as cleaners)) in the end most just end up continuing to do another job or work 2 menial jobs and never get qualified, take my ex wife shes got a degree as a nurse in her old country but now instead if geting $ 35 an hour she gets about $ 11 an hour as an assistant all after 10 years she still is trying to work 2 jobs and study to get through the requirements they have there.again her uncle an engineer in old country but now a cleaner 7 days a week in canada for 15 years! im saying this not to put you off as im from uk and i hate the place at times but iver been all over the world and trust me europe and the uk has the best working conditions and opportunities in the world in canada you only get 10 days holiday a year no boxing day and less stat hols but of course this may not mean anything to you and what id suggest is take a trip there,in west canada like edmonton and calgary its a booming place now and rich in oil you can have a 5 bed house easily with acres of land in certain parts of canada compared to what you get in uk for 100k but the trade off is working 2 jobs studying in between being humble and prepared to take a crappier job than u had at home and having 10 days off a year, paying towards health care(subsidised) plus paying around $ 400 a month car insurance for a 15 year old car let alone food is not as cheap as in uk.it depends i mean as i said you need to get out there it can be down to minus 20 or 30 6 months of snow 2 months summer in west. anyway maybe you know all or some of this already but to those who want to migrate to canada and usa its not so rosy on other side even if uk is a pit hole at times.but watch some of those tv reloacation programmes most just go into it blind. whatever you do especially if you have family think it through and prepare and then some.however if you do want a new life there you must be humble to start again prepare to do anything and study like crazy re invent yourself basically is the way there.
