I received a verbal job offer before a week.I have to start work this monday.Should i send thank you card?

Question by inagt2003: I received a verbal job offer before a week.I have to start work this monday.Should i send thank you card?
Before to receive the offer, i had to pass through two interviews. After the first one i sent a thank you letter to all of the recruiting members. They offered me the job, but over the phone. Is it a good idea to send them a card where i will thank them for the offer, or is it better just to go there Monday on time and be ready for work. Anyway today is Wednesday and i live in NJ, my future job will be in NY nobody will quarantees that the card will get there on time. However i can send e-mail…I dont know!
Thank you in advance for your answers!

You should tell them to F-Off. Show them who’s boss

    Email is good enough

I should wish you luck in your new job and welcome you to the country. I think you should answer the card.

To send them a card after the job offer only makes you a suck-up. You have already properly thanked them. Now, you can dedicate yourself to familiarizing with the company and their policies, and researching any ideas that can help you in understanding and bettering your work.

Email them with “thank you for the offer really looking forward to starting Monday”. simple as that!
