I have existing UAE visa and I got a job offer to Qatar, do I have to cancel my UAE visa first?
Question by JC: I have existing UAE visa and I got a job offer to Qatar, do I have to cancel my UAE visa first?
I have existing UAE visa but I already went to my home country without cancelling my visa. And now I got job offer to work in Qatar. Will there be any problem with getting a Qatar resident visa without cancelling my UAE visa?
My employer whom is offering me a job in Qatar told me that a Qatar visa wont be issued until my Dubai visa is cancelled. Why is that so? It’s two different country.

NO… you dont need to cancel if you want to. It’ not a big deal. However, i you feel you will be going to the UAE in the near or far future – then you have to cancell it as you will be automaticaly absconding and you will be filed and recorded in the Immigration.
Not with Qatar, but you got problem (FINE) if you go back to UAE without cancelled the visa. So just stay away from UAE if you didn’t cancel.
