I bet Bigger turtle Still lives with his mom and pops!! its not that we are lazy asshole. there are 700,000 people unemployed. its not us its them. the jobs out here are cheap bastards all about the all mighty dollar. they don’t want to hire anyone else the only jobs that do hire if any are the shitty ones that wont even pay your light bill.
@InterntzTrollerinz At least learn how to spell before you try to get a job you lazy moron
@biggerturtle Ya because 1-3=4 in the math class you went to.
It isn’t like their is a lack of jobs and a large number of applicants or anything like that.
Biggerturtle shut your mouth boy, until the shoe is on the other foot you can’t say shit.
@Killerqunz Fuck all you lazy motherfuckers who want a free ride
There are Four or FIVE General Motors plants in Mexico, along with many, many, many manufactoring factories that literally closed up, shut down, and in some cases, they tore the entire building down and moved it into another country, for slave wages, no benefits, some people being forced to work 24 hours straight. I quit Energizer recently (was Full-time) they are making SO many full-time jobs, where we brought in Temps, trained them, and considered it a “Temp job” I quit that, went to college.
@Killerqunz I don’t think Unemployment is a Permanent answer, but people like my dad who has busted his ass in factories for over 30 years, loses his job, and only receives a couple months worth of Unemployment at what ? $300/week, as soon as the money stops, everything slows down, Unemployment is supposed to be employment insurance, to give you breathing room til next job, but when all is available ARE Temp Jobs that pay less than Unemployment, how can we survive on that ? Millions to the curb!
@Killerqunz Temp jobs fall under either underemployed or unemployed since its a “Temporary” Job, as it has been shown rarely on various News channels, they mostly show things about Obama creating jobs, when most of them don’t last more than a few weeks to a couple months, probably alot of them employed through the many grants applied to oh..building new court houses, upgrading things when they don’t need it. When it should be going towards people who paid into Unemployed for 1-50+ years.
@cobrala “You know its actually around 18% ” Actually its much higher than that, most people don’t count in the “Temp Jobs” which is supposed to be just that, when people end up working years, decades at 0 benefits, even when some of them are doing Full time jobs, as I see it personally at my work. OH and almost all the jobs Obama “created” were temp jobs (800-900k) besides the few government jobs.
@mrs001980 Of course they are , and make no mistake they could care less about you or I, it’s hard relate to the working man, when your intoxicated by greed and corruption.
the senaters that voted are probably are rich people, they dont care cause they are still getting there pay check for voting against the bill
@cobrala
I hear ya’ my friend. The economy is the worst I’ve seen in my lifetime. There are SO many people (qualified people) out of work right now; it’s a shame.
And filling out applications online is the worst. I always get the boilerplate “thank you for applying…good luck with the job search” crap its disheartening.
Things must change and quickly.
@ckj377 Ive put out at over a hundred resumes and applied to almost every airline, charter operation, in the country even if I thought I was unqualified. I didnt care.
@dglenn247 – CORRECT! I have been watching the networks like a hawk and there is nothing.
@cobrala
Spot on.
Truly a sad state of affairs when a person who wants to work simply gives up due to the futility of trying to find work in this economy.
@ckj377 You know its actually around 18% because they dont count the underemployed and those not looking for work
Write , EMAIL OR CALL ALL THE REPUBLICANS AND TELL THEM TO APPROVE SENATOR STABENOW – UNEMPLOYMENT INSURANCE AND COBRA ,STAND ALONE NEW BILL AS IT IS NOW, NOT WATERED DOWN. S3520 IS NOW IN FINANCE COMMITEE.

These senators make 174K a year and they deny unemployment benefits in an economy with 10% unemployment.
These aristocrats don’t represent the working class.
Any elected official should make the average salary of whatever constituency they represent.
Then perhaps the laws they vote for would represent the people.
I remember in 2007 I was doing great! Great job as a UAW member,overtime,etc.Then the financial crisis,gas prices in 2008,the start of all the layoffs.I never imagined how I would be in this in 2010.People are not going to buy cars if there unemployed ,and more so if thay don’t get nothing at all! I drive a 98 taurus and it’s getting close to the end of it.I’m going to need a car in the nere future.
@dglenn247 Don’t worry. We will get this passed. We are all in this together,
