They’ll use carpet bomb marketing tactics and cheap sentiment to create a sense of false need by manipulating peoples emotions to stimulate their commercially instilled sense of cultural tradition to motivate their participation in the annual cycle of guilt driven Pavlovian robotic consumerism and high interest credit card debt.

It’s going to be tough. I think successful retailers are going to have to use a combination of loss leaders (e.g., deep discounts on LCD/plasma tv, as an example) in order to draw people in, & get them to spend $ $ on other items. I have a feeling that this year’s Black Friday is going to have some very good deals, if you know where to look.
Bottom line is that they’re going to have to show consumers more value than ever for their dollars.

I think the most effective way is target kid and teen to attract consumer.even the market is tough right now, but i still see people walked around the mall with eyes opens…… the funny think is that most store with kids items and teen always make a sell (i would say 8/10) so the bottom line is not encourage but target….. good luck
