Forever. That’s something that the felon ALWAYS has to disclose, unless s/he was exonerated or pardoned.

some states have laws regarding when they can use your criminal past against you, they range from 5-7 years however you may not have disclose it but if they find it they just will give another reason to not hire you.
google your state felony and employment
