Question by Miss America♫®: How do you find out if your apartment building is in Foreclosure?
Im a tenant and just got a letter in the mail. 2 weeks ago my LL told me that all of it ws a lie..and that the property is not in Foreclosure. So I got the letter and at the bottom gives me the NYS banking dept address for more info. Where do I look to find out if this property is in Foreclosure?

It’s public record and you would be able to find it by going to your county recorders office. Call your county clerk and find out where and how to contact the department that records these documents.
