In Obama’s plan to help reduce deficit of the government, he stated that he brought up the American Jobs Act, where there will be more jobs for the needy. How does this reduce deficit? Also, as an extension, what other things did Obama say in his plan that he was going to do to reduce deficit?

We are paying many of these people unemployment compensation, food stamps, and other forms of aid.
The idea is to get them off the government dole and working, so that they are paying into the system and not taking out of it.

The only thing Obama’s Job Plan would have done is add billions to the debt. Just like the first failed stimulus package, this one would have been another failed bill.
