DO NOT BUY A HOUSE IN BUCKEYE, AZ WITH HOA! What a rip-off! The management company, Associated Asset issues fines for non existant violations. I guess that they need to engege in fraud to offset their losses due to the downturn in the housing market. If you dispute their bogus fines, they then just sue you in court to collect the money. I am counting the days to ESCAPE BUCKEYE, AZ! If you buy a house in Buckeye you are a fool. If you buy a house in Buckeye, AZ with a HOA you are an idiot!
This is happening where I live also. There are several nice homes for sale, some are foreclosures, yet, people are building new homes. I doesn’t make sense to me either.
I really feel like buying a house, but there are a couple of things I don’t like.

1. I don’t like that the homes have HOA fees.
2. Stores are too far away you need a car to go pretty much anywhere.
3. It’s too hot! (I’m already living in Yuma, Az where the temperature reached 118F degrees last week
4. The utilities bill are probably going to be out the roof.
5. There very few to no jobs!
6. I really feel disappointed with the sb1070 bill.

@vanvanbluz jus loook at local realty sites at what the houses are actually sellin for. I usually check zip realty , their site has good info. Probably cash buys.

@ArizonaPublic Thanks bro, I live off union hills and cave creek. Just got off realty site and saw 2 and 3 bedrooms sellin for 40 and 50 thousand. Some houses sold for 325 in 08 and are priced at 120 but if they sell it will be half that….
@GRUMPY656799 As wepollock says, people are in maximum denial. It is a tad scary here in France cuz the economy picked up big time last year and people went back to sleep big time. They do tend to be more alert here, however, and ask me questions and my opinion, which is nice, we have some good discussions. In English often, they are all eager to learn it (but I do speak French so I revert to it when things are not clear). My American friends are shuffling zombies!
But come to Tempe Friend $100,000 for a 3br no garage Spanish flat that was not built with any insulation. Prices in the center of the valley are still way to high.
I had it explained to me that the reason why they are building new homes People that can afford to buy in this market don’t want to move in to a shifty neighborhood where half the homes are empty. They are being sold an idea of a new home with neighbors that are moving in also. Fulton homes is running a ad on the radio of a game show and a woman spins a wheel gets a foreclosure and the game show host says oh no you lose everything.
i could buy that house for $10,000 in cash!

I’ll do a reality series. I want to find some crackhead squatters and film them smoking crack or doing what ever it is on those houses. I know a out of work real estate agent. He watches foreclosed hoods and as is pay lives in the homes. Because he doesn’t have a house. He makes fun of my job lol. I want to do a vid with him. Give him like $200.00 and have him walk me through the foreclosed homes. Maybe cut him low make some fun of him. He has no pride left. So I’ll pwn him on cam good times.
Now its 2011 and you would have to pay me to live there.

Good vid Bro. I am in NC, and a good friend in the construction business says that he is getting stimulus money to build houses that the bank will own, but don’t have to pay for. Huh? He said a banker friend said it was a way to show inflated new jobs, so things wouldn’t look so bad. I wonder?
