I’m sure I agree with you that these problems were long in coming, and they have not run their course yet. Evidently I was wrong in mistaking you for someone who blames Obama every time someone prank-rings their doorbell. However, should the Democrats succeed in bring some order and regulation to the chaos that is our financial sector, problems will diminish until the next time the deregulation craze strikes Congress.
It’s sad that the media keeps saying recovery, when it’s really a recession/depression. A couple months ago our local media said “the recesion is over”, what a crock. As soon as all the people who’ve had their home foreclosed on, get another home, then we will believe in a recovery. Homes could be as low as $1 but if you’re unemployed & have $0, well ?!?!?
I see you all are rooting for the expanding economy. Pretty sorry when people wish others ill will because the republicans told them to. The economy is on the upswing. Get used to it. It’s a good thing.
@Larc You live in a place called Shouldda Couldda Wouldda LAND. McCain has nothing to do with the real estate market bubble popping or jobs available. Going to real estate school I could see this happening years ago. Could McCain have stopped it? Could he have fixed it by now? NO. Unemployment is more than the numbers given. Don’t you know unemployment is counted if they are on unemployment? If your unemployment runs out but you’re still unemployed you’re not counted as one of the unemployed.
