If anybody’s being “held hostage”, it’s the unemployed by Obama himself. With his destruction of small and big business alike with neverending taxes and penalties (the employers in this country) and his attempted extension of unemployment benefits (incentivization not to work), he’s done much more to raise the unemployment numbers than he ever has to lower them. But keep blaming everybody else like Bush and the Republicans for your pathetic performance thus far. Plenty of saps to believe you.

Obama has secretly spent $23 million of U.S. taxpayer dollars in Kenya to fund a “Yes” vote on a constitutional referendum scheduled for Aug. 4 that would increase access to abortions in Kenya and establish legal status for Islamic law tribunals. Would this money have been better spent on extending unemployment benefits for US citizens? And he blames the limp dick repubs, please spare me….
@IndifferenceRVM TARP Bill, otherwise known as the Obama slush fund. The Dems want to add to the debt and divert funding from other fed programs and yes their argument is moot. Blame somone else but its not working anymore.
republicans have proposed a bill that uses some of the roughly $400 billion of unspent stimulus money to be used to pay for the extension of benefits. the democrat leadership will not allow a vote on that bill. instead the democrats are insisting on a bill that is funded with more government debt. the republicans are not supporting that bill. who is in the wrong? pretty plain to see in my opinion. the democrats want this topic to try to bash republicans with. pathetic.

@willbrownmedia What investment firm would tell you borrow more than you can pay back to invest? We molded our businesses to fit the needs of WW2 to not only borrow money but make money as well. We have the money to pay for the unemployment right now and it’s called the stimulus package but since they are just all slimy politicians they won’t spend the money on that because they have to try and keep power in the fall where they want to use their slush fund instead of unemployment.
Obama is a joke and needs to quit playing politics. All he proposes is more spending and more debt. He has done nothing to fix the economy which is why unemployment is at 9.5%
