Do Polls Show America Is Liberal? – Cenk on MSNBC
Are Americans Progressive? Cenk Uygur breaks down the results of several new polls showing that a majority of Americans strongly oppose cuts to social security, medicare and other programs that benefit the middle class and poor (K-12 education, Medicaid, LIHEAP, student loans, etc.). Also, most Americans believe the best way to balance the budget is to raise corporate and income taxes (on people making over 100k and 1 million dollars a year), cut defense spending and end subsidies to big oil companies.

@LoK3y of couse hed be “ok” with it. Doesnt mean they would get in to heaven. Because yes the bible teaches tolerance of others but it does guide you away from those actions. I believe although Jesus would accept these people he would shy them away from homosexual tendencies. BUT, because Jesus’ word was before the bible, who am i to say what he would have said or not?… we wont know til judgement day
@ekuwa69 pretty much, because Obama, to some people, is the only Democrat. And there has not been a single Republican to step up. However, i dont think America will pull out of this rutt soon because some people dont think for themselves, they let the polls think for them. Polls are meaningless come election day…
@Jetkillr thanks:)
@mcgge7 this is possible and easier to explain if you put it in other terms. Just as fish in the sea might not be aware of whats on the land or how a dog cant comprehend what exists outside of our solar system. Some things are just beyond our current level of comprehension or level of understanding.
@mcgge7
No, I don’t, because you just asserted that, you haven’t provided any evidence. What evidence do you have to suggest he’s outside of Time and Space?
@BusinessIDBAI he’s outisde of time remember and matter
@mcgge7
And I still don’t understand what created your god. Couldn’t have just come from… Nothing, could it?
@BusinessIDBAI i still don’t understand how nothing created everything?
@mcgge7
You’re basically going off the ASSUMPTION (You haven’t demonstrated that a god even exists, let alone is outside of space time, let alone can be outside of space time and interact with space time) that a god exists and creates things.
People who believe in UFOs go off the ASSUMPTION that any unexplained light in the sky is an alien space craft. Or whenever they black out and wake up somewhere other than where they blacked out that they have been abducted. No evidence, just assumptions.
@BusinessIDBAI how is that so?
@mcgge7
Yes, I did, it’s venomfangX making William Lane Craig’s argument. And you still haven’t presented any evidence to support your assertions. Based on your standards of evidence, we should also accept claims of alien abduction.
@BusinessIDBAI you didn’t watch the video. don’t be so close-minded. It’s this simple. If something(a god) has complete control of something, for all you know he could have made it appear however he wanted it to.
@mcgge7
I’ve been involved in these debates longer than you can imagine, I’ve heard this all before. However, you have absolutely no evidence of any of this.
Beyond that, your assertion that “nothing can NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, create everything. Let me say it again”, would equally apply to your god. So, I ask again, where did god come from?
@BusinessIDBAI god is outside of time, matter and space. He created them. Watch this video, it sums it up
/watch?v=Sr5lY0TcdAw
@mcgge7
Okay, where did god come from?
@BusinessIDBAI proof of god, here you go, nothing can NEVER, EVER, EVER, EVER, create everything. Let me say it again. NOTHING can not, can not, create EVERYTHING!
@splicedenergy That is what I have been saying… Why do we have a Private banking cartel create our money? They manipulate it with interest rates and inflation and on top of all that they charge us interest on the paper they give us. They hardly even know what they are doing. Why don’t we follow the constitution and have the congress regulate our money?
@ammarios There used to be a right wing. Now we call it right wing for lack of a better word. The “republican” party is not republican anymore. They’re bat shit crazy immoral, retarded, greedy sycophants. Something shifted. The neocons have their own dictionary and only they know what those are. They’re the party of confusion, hatred and ignorance
@withtheoldbreed FacePalm. The government does not nor has ever owned the federal reserve. Federal express isnt federal just like the Federal reserve isnt governed either.
..so it seems WRONG that a left-leaning society has NO political left-wing and is FORCED to choose the lesser of the two right-wing evils…
In fact, it almost seems like … a kind of dictatorship of some sort… the left-leaning majority are being oppressed and forced to abide by laws made by parties that do not accurately represent them but have claimed/hijacked the role of representation imposed by the 2-party-system that gives voters only those 2 options if they want their vote to count…
I KNEW IT!!! I ALWAYS thought (as a Canadian) that it was EXTREMELY weird that the U.S political spectrum was right-of-centre..the Dems AND GOP are both right-wing (on a Canadian and Global spectrum)..the GOP is just MORE right-wing than the ALSO right-wing Dems, even though I was pretty sure that the American people themselves were majorly more left-leaning (on the global scale)
@splicedenergy You need to stop being a dumb ass and suckin up to minorities out of guilt.. I’m 6ft 4 and 240#’s….I eat little jungle fever bitches like you for breakfast…..anytime one of you little confused pussy libs wants to take your shot…just let me know…..
@splicedenergy In what way? Does the Constitution not say in article 1 section 8 that only congress is given the power to coin money? The Constitution tells the government what it can do. Anything not outlined by it is, by default, unconstitutional. “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people.” -Thomas Jefferson
@No1Rides4Free You need your teeth knocked out.
@withtheoldbreed You are fundamentally uninformed. Keep pushing the lies fed to you.
