December unemployment rate hits 14-year high
MONTROSE — Montrose County ended 2010 with its highest unemployment rate in at least 14 years. The county’s unadjusted unemployment rate was 11.2 percent in December, one of the highest rates in Colorado, reported the state Department of Labor and Employment.
