County unemployment at lowest point in 2 years
HILO — The Big Island unemployment rate fell to its lowest level in two years, according to data released Monday by the state Department of Labor.

Weld’s unemployment rate rises two-tenths of a percent in December
Weld County’s unemployment rate climbed two-tenths of a percent in December, according to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment. The seasonally non-adjusted rate for Weld rose from 9.6 percent in November to 9.8 percent last month. The rate in December 2009 was 8.5 percent.
