OK, so I got laid off in California in September of 2008. I received EDD (state) benefits for a few months, while looking for work. Didn’t find anything, moved to Europe with wife and kids. Now I want to come back. When/if I do, and I begin HUNTING for work, will I be entitled to receive the similar benefits from EDD as I did in 2008? Or are there any other social programs that could aid jobless people?
