Rob i am already married but my husband is not here yet. I am also paying all the things you’ve said. You don’t have the right to judge people. Anyway for your information I am married but it is not valid here as long my husband gets here so i am still single if i pay my taxes. May God bless you Rob and thank you for your opinion.

You can’t collect unemployment just because you are pregnant.
Unemployment is for people who lost their job through no fault of their own — such as a layoff.
Quitting because you are pregnant is not a qualifying reason.
And even if you could draw unemployment, going to school would stop the benefits since part of the requirement for drawing benefits is that you are actively applying for work AND are ready, willing, and able to work if a job offer arises.

You’re “planning” on getting unemployment insurance? It doesn’t work that way.
There’s no private unemployment insurance in the USA, and if you quit your job to go to school, you don’t qualify for unemployment payments. Your belly has nothing to do with it.
1. If you are not available to accept full time work immediately, because you are in school, then you are not qualified for unemployment.
2. If you are planning to get unemployment, then you are not qualified. To be qualified, you must be planning to get a job as soon as possible, not planning to get unemployment, to go to school, or to do anything else that you cannot do while working.
3. Being pregnant has no effect on unemployment unless it keeps you from being able to work.
No you cannot collect unemployment compensation while pregnant and going to school in NJ. You are eligible for unemployment compensation ONLY if you are laid off from a job through no fault of your own and earned enough qualifying wages during the time that you were employed. You can be pregnant and go to school if you can afford it, but you cannot collect unemployment.
