Report this quickly because there was a mistake it isnt illegal if it was an accident however somebody may have stolen your info to steal your home illegally.

Did the process start? If so they have reported that and it is legal. If the process did not complete then you can have it removed. You will need a letter from the lender stating that it never proceeded with the foreclosure. It will need to be on their letter head with a contact persons name and number and reference your account number.
