Question by John M: What if there is a descrepancy between your reported and actual GPA for employment?
For instance, what if you recieved a job offer contingent upon a background check, and your GPA went down afterwards? What if your GPA was a bit lower than they had expected? Not grossly off, but off.
Could and/or would they revoke the offer?

If GPA was a factor in making you the offer, they could technically do so…I’ve never heard of an employer actually rescinding an offer if the GPA was close. Now if you said you have a 3.95 and it was more like a 1.75, you could be in trouble.
